About Us

Boost-It was created in the pursuit of an adjustable fuel injection system for turbo charged snowmobiles. In over 4 years of riding turbo charged sleds, it was evident that the most consistent running turbo sleds were the MCX Nytro’s and Apex’s. We loved the idea of extra injectors for unlimited fueling, and we really loved the fact that the stock fuel injection system remained intact for easy starting and great fuel economy just as the Factory had designed it. The only downfall to the MCX system is that if you wanted to make a change to the fuel map, you either needed a laptop and a costly Megatune program, or the fuel controller had to be sent to MCX for changes.

We were running modified engines that had different fueling needs than a stock engine with a headshim, so therfore needed to adjust the fueling and wanted no part of a laptop. Our first generation controllers known as the EIC filled the basic idea of what we were looking or…an adjustable extra injector controller with main fuel and injector start time (threshold) control. These EIC’s are consistent and reliable, and gave us the same result in fueling day after day.

With the EIC becoming limited in it’s capability’s, our engineer came to us with the idea of the new and improved XIC. We loved the idea of a digital display with hard numbers for main fueling and threshold. We were also excited he could offer us features like 02 logging in 250 RPM increments so we could adjust fueling in different RPM ranges to suit specific engine needs. We now have a controller that will work on any 4 stroke engine with a turbo or Supercharger, and it is still adjustable on the controller itself with no laptop required.

The biggest news is, that we have the XIC working on a 2011 Polaris Pro 800 Turbo. We were able to use a tach signal from a different source than the stock injection system for more control over injection events. We add fuel just before boost comes on, so we don’t have a lean roll on condition and bog like so many other 2 stroke controllers. The best news is…it is adjustable in a matter of seconds.
